 Al Jazeera Arabic's sources have told the network, Yemeni warplanes are striking a factory in the city of Jaar on Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Meanwhile, the mediation efforts between Al Ahmar and Saleh reached a “deadlock” last night because Saleh’s loyalists failed to remove “armed men in civilian close” from buildings near Al Ahmar’s house. 

Abdel Qawi Al Kessi, The director of the office of Sadeq Al Ahmar, told AJA:

Al Kessi said that they “are now in a state of defending themselves” and the “have taken over some new places” including the building of the ministry of interior and the police station in Hasba district.
