Alan Fisher is an experienced, award-winning correspondent whose career in television stretches back more than 25 years. He moved to the United States in 2011, after six years in our European news centre. He has covered stories from across the globe for Al Jazeera, including the wars in Gaza and Georgia, the continued fighting in Afghanistan and the European financial crisis. He is currently based in Washington, DC.
