The Pajhwok news service is reporting that the deputy head of the Afghan Taliban's military council, Maluvi Ismail, has been killed by Pakistan's Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) agency for holding talks with the United States.

Quoting an un-named Afghan government official, the Pajhwok news service says Ismail was killed along with 25 others on Saturday.
