A roadside bomb has killed at least five civilians and injured another 15 in eastern Afghanistan.

Provincial officials, speaking to the Reuters news agency, said a passenger bus hit a roadside bomb while driving on the highway from Kabul to Kandahar, near the centre of eastern Ghazni province.
