A pair of bombings in southern Afghanistan has killed four policemen.

The Friday evening and Saturday morning attacks were carried out by bombs hidden in motorcycles that exploded as police vehicles were passing by Tarin Kot, capital of Uruzgan province, said a local police official.

Each attack killed two policemen, with the Saturday blast wounding another two, said Gulab Khan, director of the criminal investigation department of Uruzgan.
