Al Jazeera sources in the city of Aleppo in northern Syria have reported that at least 12 people have been killed and several others were wounded by Syrian security forces, most of them in Aleppo’s neighbourhood of al-Izaa.

He said the security forces fired on a demonstration that took to the streets to attend a funeral of a young man who was killed during his participation in Friday rallies. 

In the meantime, the Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said people were killed when the army stormed of al-Dhameer neighbourhood near Damascus, while another was killed in bombing of al-Qusour neighbourhood in Homs.
