From the Associated Press: An 11-year-old boy, Ali Hasan, will appear in a Bahraini court on Monday to face charges of taking part in an illegal protest.

The boy's lawyer, Mohsen al-Alawi, says the sixth-grade student was arrested last month and took his school exams behind bars. He is among the youngest suspects detained in crackdowns by the Gulf nation's Sunni monarchy.
