Speaking to Al Jazeera's Gregg Carlstrom, Mohamed al-Jishi, lawyer for jailed human rights activist, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who has been on a hunger strike for over two months now, says the intravenous (IV) drip being given to Khawaja at a military hospital in Bahrain is only a saline/glucose solution.

"The doctors said this won't be enough to keep him alive. He is in a critical phase and he still needs to take food", said Jishi of reports that Khawaja was being 'fed' through the IV drip.
