Coalition group condemns both sides for rights abuses and bloodshed

Al Jazeera's D. Parvaz reports that a coalition of groups, led by the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies has issued a statement demands the resignation of Egypt's Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim, and calling for the Muslim Brotherhood to refrain from violence.

The statement criticises the track record of both Ibrahim and the Muslim Brotherhood even prior to Saturday's bloodshed:

There has been no accountability for these crimes, neither under Morsy nor the current interim president; indeed, the MB has continued to commit these crimes after its fall from power.
