A rare television appearance by two members of Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), which has ruled Egypt since former President Hosni Mubarak stepped down in February 2011, is scheduled for 21:00G (23:00 local Cairo time) on Wednesday . Major Generals Mohamed el-Assar and Mahmoud Hegazi will appear on Egypt's CBC television channel. This will be the first television interview given by anyone from SCAF since Mohamed Morsi was announced the winner of a presidential runoff earlier this month. SCAF is expected to hand over power to the president-elect on June 30.
