The ceremony where President-elect Mohamed Morsi will take the oath as Egypt’s president is expected to start at 09:00 GMT (11 am local) at Cairo’s Constitutional Court with a speech by the court’s head, Chief Justice Farouk Sultan. Chief Justice Sultan is also the judge who headed the Supreme Presidential Elections Commission that oversaw the election process and declared Morsi’s win official.
After Sultan gives his speech, he will then invite President-elect Mohamed Morsi to take the oath before the Constitutional Court' General Assembly, which is made up of 19 judges.
