In a press conference just moments ago, the Muslim Brotherhood officially claimed that their candidate, Mohammed Morsi, had won the presidential runoff.
With 12,793 of the country's roughly 13,000 polling stations counted, the Brotherhood said Morsi had won 52.5% of the vote - 12.743 million votes, to Ahmed Shafiq's 11.846 million.
Final results will not be announced until later this week.
