Hatem Bagato, the secretary-general of the presidential election commission, says final results may not be released until Saturday or Sunday - which would be breaking the law, according to an article published today in El-Shorouk.
The article references a 2005 law, which requires the commission to release final election results within three days of receiving them from polling stations.
They received the results, at the latest, on Tuesday - when a member of the commission confirmed it - which makes Friday the deadline for releasing results.
