Ameur Larayedh, director of the political bureau of the ruling Ennahda party in Tunisia, a movement which has historic links with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood:
"We are very happy that the will of the Egyptian people has been respected. I think the people have imposed their will by avoiding the election fraud. We're glad that Dr. Mohamad Morsi has won because he's the candidate of masses, the revolution, Tahrir Square and the Islamic Movement. We wish the Best for Dr. Mursi who's now the president of all the Egyptian people including the Muslims, Christians, religious and non-religious people. We expect this step to facilitate the realization of the objectives of the Egyptian revolution."
