Spain has not ruled out salary cuts for public employees, the Public Administration Secretary Antonio Beteta said on Wednesday, after the government on Tuesday said it was also studying raising consumer, property and energy taxes.

"The government is looking at all the possibilities suggested by the European Union and will make a decision soon," Beteta said.
