In an interview with Al Jazeera, Osama Hamdan, the representative for Hamas in Lebanon, said:

"It is a big deal to kill someone like Ahmad Jabari, who was the military commander of Hamas. But I have to add that the heirarchy of the military is such that we have a replacement for him already."

"It is not a name we will announce at this time."
