Sirens have sounded in Jerusalem with Israel Radio qouting Israeli police saying that a rocket has landed in an open area outside Jerusalem city limits.

Hamas radio says that the rocket was an M75 Iranian-made missile assembled in Gaza.

AFP news agency reports:

An explosion shook Jerusalem on Tuesday
shortly after air raid sirens wailed across the city as UN chief Ban Ki-moon
arrived for top-level talks over a truce to end the Gaza crisis, AFP
correspondents said.
A loud boom could be heard in the southern part of the city shortly after
the air raid sirens sounded, with police confirming that they also heard it and
were searches were under way.

Israel Radio reports that police say the rocket landed in the Gush Etzion area of West Bank and another rocket hit Eshkol. Casualties have also been reported.
