Last modified: 19 Jun 2012 07:54

Coalition talks have entered their second day in Greece.

The New Democracy conservatives, who came in first in the polls, said they struck a preliminary agreement with the socialists PASOK to form "a government of national salvation" to rescue Greece from its devastating economic crisis.

Syriza, the leftist part, has already ruled out take part in a New Democracy-led coalition government.
