About 400 people from the Afghan Hazara-Shia community have taken to the streets to protest the targeted killings of the group in neighbouring Pakistan.

According to the Reuters news agency, demonstrators on Friday held placards that read "Death to Terrorism" and "Shame, Shame Pakistan", as they called on Islamabad to protect the Hazara-Shia, particularly in the Balochistan province.

Kazim Waheedi, the organizer of the demonstration, said the killing of Hazaras in Pakistan was on the rise.

"In the past two months 150 Hazaras have been killed, which shows a huge increase. And the reason of ourgathering is against this inhuman action by Pakistan"
