Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, should be tried for "massacres" and not offered asylum anywhere, SNC chief Abdelbasset Seda says.

"There are massacres being committed. We believe Bashar Assad should be tried. He is a criminal and should not be given a shelter," he said.
