Activist group The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that it documented 46 civilians killed across Syria on Wednesday.

The deaths took place in Homs (5 killed), Hama (12 killed), Reef Dimashq (10 killed), Deir Ez-Zor (1 killed), Idlieb (4 killed), Aleppo (2 killed), Dara'a (6 killed), Latakia (6 killed).

A defected lieutenant was also killed in Madaya, a Shia cleric was assassinated in reef Dimashq and a doctor was killed in Damscus, the group said.

It also said at least 34 regime forces were killed during clashes in the provinces including Hama, Latakia, Dera'a, Homs, Deir Ez-Zor and Aleppo.
