Emergency meeting of Arab states called to discuss bombardment of cities using heavy weaponry

Arab nations are set to hold an emergency meeting of the Arab Committee on Syria.

The July 22 meeting in the Qatari capital of Doha, will discuss the deteriorating situation in Syria and the massacres being committed in the nation's towns and villages.

Ambassador Ahmad ben Huli, Arab League deputy secretary general says the emergency meeting follows intensive talks between Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jaber, and the foreign inisters of Kuwait, Iraq and Egypt, as well as Arab League Secretary General Nabil El Araby, discussing the Syrian governments bombardment of cities and neighbourhoods and use of heavy weaponry.
