The Yarubaiyah border crossing between Iraq and Syria has been reopened today, after being closed for five days, the local Iraqi administration has announced.

"The security forces, NGOs and trips on the Iraqi side have prepared camps to receive refugees whom had fled the violence in Syria," Ali Fantoush, the head of the local district council, said.
