Turkey has ordered an Armenian plane en route to neighbouring Syria to land so that its cargo could be searched.

Thursday's grounding is the second such instance in a month.

The cargo plane, said to be carrying humanitarian aid was being searched in the eastern Turkish city of Erzurum in a previously agreed step.
