Syria's ambassador to Belgium was summoned to meet Didier Reynders, the country's foreign minister, later Tuesday as nations worldwide expelled Syrian diplomats in protest at the Houla massacre this weekend.

"The ambassador has been summoned at 1800 hours [1600 GMT]," the minister's office said.
