Three Syrians were abducted this morning in Beirut by the Miqdad family, whose son is being held in Syria by the Free Syrian Army and presented to media as a fighter in the Hizbullah movement.

Hizbullah had said he is not part of the resistance moment, his family had been threatening that they will retaliate and act on their own to secure his release, Al Jazeera's Rula Amin reported.

On Wednesday morning, two mini vans were hijacked. All the captives aside from the three Syrians were subsequently released.

The Almiqdad family says that the three Syrians abducted are FSA members.
