The UN monitoring mission in Syria has released a new video of a press conference held in Damascus by Major General Robert Mood, the head of the mission.

Mood said that he briefed the Syrian government on the Geneva conference that took place earlier this week. He said the government has expressed a "clear commitment" to International Envoy Kofi Annan's peace plan.
