In Yemen, at least 25 people have been killed in fighting between Sunni and Shia groups over the weekend, according to the Reuters news agency.

This latest unrest comes as opposition leader Mohammed Basindwa was named as the interim prime minister.

He has two weeks to form a new government ahead of elections in February.

His appointment is part of the power transfer deal signed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Wednesday.
